THE NINE HUNDRED AND NINETY TWOTH MEETING OF RICC. TM'S** Wheeeeeeee!
Guests: Chris - who became a member during the evening. Welcome Chris.
Word of the Day: Euphoria
Sgt@Arms: Richard
Toastmaster: Jo used the Theme of "Guess Who" as a vehicle to segue from one speaker to the next, where we had to guess who it was after she gave us a few clues. Dickens, Meryl Streep and Einstein received an honorable mention and the audience participated in guessing "who from the clue". A novel way to do the TM's role, Jo. Well done.
Induction of new member - Chris - who read the Toatsmaster's promise and was welcomed by Gail in her role of VP Membership.
Grammarian: Mark E introduced his Word of the Day and later on treated the audience to his analysis of the grammar used during the evening. Good work Mark. Dr. Who would have been proud of you.
1st Speaker: Sherini with "Family is everything" gave an animated speech to a hypothetical family reunion. Her sense of humour encompassed "rellies" who could not be there becouse they "were in prison, in rehab or dead". What with a photo-board of other rellies who had photo-shopped themselves into dropping 20 years off their age and a swag of "selfies", Sherini had them rocking in the aisles and well-deserved the award she won for best speech of the evening. Fabulous speech Sherini. Very well done.
2nd Speaker: Debs with "HPL-Sucess Factor Consultancy and Coaching Ltd" talked about High Performance Leadership tuition and the USP - Unique Selling Point an attendee can devise for their own business. A very interesting and technical speech which was well received. Great work Debs.
Tabletopicsmaster: Tony H. did a good job choosing and encouraging speakers to come forward and have their say -
Chris Warren Buffet
Hadassah: The Queen
Tracey: The Bachelor
JUdy: Pikacu
Julie: Hugh Hefner
Timer: Will did a short, sweet and accurate run down of times taken by every speaker of the evening. Excellent work Will.
